About NIDHA
Nidha [ ni-dh’A ] is a Sanskrit word for net. As a net enables one to discover the precious offerings from the womb of a river, this platform was started with the intention of extracting the best the World Wide Web can offer. Nidha is a platform that brings web designers from India together. It’s a place where designers showcase their work done using web standards and cascading style sheets. Of course there are many international sites dedicated to this, but there isn’t any India specific site. There are very few sites coming out of India that are developed with standards in mind. By recognizing these exceptionally beautiful designs, other designers, and businesses, and others can get inspired, and find a direction they may wish to take with their own web sites.
Designers can use this platform as a way to interact with other designers.
We are looking for guest writers working in this field. The site has been officially launched in Jan 1st 2006. Currently it’s under the “beta” state. So dont be critical about some alignment problems in some browsers.
Your encouragement and involvement is always welcome. Please feel free to drop a line. Developed and maintained by Raghavendra Kona.
